Track a portfolio

Portfolio tracking in the audited version: records you maintain, not a brokerage connection.

Version & evidence label Verified against TradeFlows source dmitriy718/tradeflows-pro@2e5540a (2025-12-16); evidence: stage-16 source audit, 2026-09-17. Source-level verification only — the deployed app at app.tradeflows.net is unverified (deployment status unverified; origin answered 522 (origin unreachable) on 2026-09-17).

Covers: Portfolio tracking (verified in source). Steps are written at the level the audit verified — the feature exists in the pinned source. Exact labels in a running app may differ; if they do, stop and see troubleshooting.

Steps

  1. Open the portfolio tracking view in the app. The audited source includes a portfolio tracking feature alongside charts, watchlists and computed indicators. Expected result: A place that lists holdings you have entered.
  2. Enter positions as records. Because the audited source has no brokerage connection of any kind — no order routes, no account-linking — positions are records you type, valued against market data the app reads. Expected result: A tracked list that reflects what you entered, updated against read-only market data.
  3. Reconcile against your real statements yourself. A tracked record can drift from reality the moment you trade and forget to update it; the app cannot know. Treat the tracked view as a notebook, not a statement. Expected result: No surprise: the tracked view is only as current as your last edit.
